Sorry I haven't posted in a few days! Finals is next week and I have tons of tests this week! 

Hope this encourages you to guys to know that good doesn't need perfect people to fulfill his purpose. He just needs someone with an open heart willing to listen!

Today I thought I would post about Pslam 32:8 "I will instruct and teach you in the way you should go, I will counsel you and watch over you." God is always by your side guiding you, helping you, and teaching you. He will never leave you no matter how far you go down the wrong path. He won't agree and it will hurt him but he will never leave and is always there to help you get back to the straight and narrow if you ask him. Remember nothing is out of God's control. He has the best plan for your life. Don't worry about things thinking God doesn't care, because if you care about God cares.

Hey guys! Today I thought I would share with you 2 Corinthians 4:17,18 "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes on  not on what is seen, but what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." This is something I most definitely struggle with. I so often get caught up in this world and what is happening this second or tomorrow. What am I going to wear? What will I make on that test? Anything really. But it is always good to step back and realize what is really important in life, God and reaching people for his kingdom. Know I am not saying flunk school and then say oh well God has got me. Wrong. True Gof has you but God wants you to use your strengths and purse people for him. For example I play soccer so I can use my love for soccer to reach my team; but I am not in band so there we need someone who is talent musician to reach people for Christ. And maybe you are saying to yourself "but I don't know what I am good at" that's  just fine and I promise God has the perfect plan just to reach out to your family and friends and people around you. Just remember don't get to stressed about temporary  things, because in the end what's going to matter is who you help and reached out to rather than an A++ on a math test or making varsity football. Heaven is eternal and life is temporary

SO I probably get the award for worst blogger ever. It has almost been a full year since I have posted! Needless to say God has made some big changes in my life since last time I posted. Lately Self image has been something that has really gotten me down this past year. I keep going for diet to diet thinking I can do it on my own. Truth is I have strayed from God and have tried to do it on my own. Thinking that God is too busy for my silly weight loss struggles. Well He's not. God thinks we are beautiful/handsome no matter our looks! 1 Peter 3:3,4 has been my go to verse when feeling insecure. It says "Your beauty should not come from outward adornment such as braided hair and the wearing of fine jewelry and fine clothes. Instead let it be of a gentle and quiet spirit Which is great worth in God's eyes." Ok this doesn't mean its a sin to braided your hair or wear nice stuff; but it means to focus on the heart before all those things because in the long run people will remember you more for how you treated them instead of what you wore.
