Hey people! (I know 2 posts in one day astonishing) anyways I just wanted to share this motivational thought I had. So I was worrying about school, relationships, the future... like usual, then I stepped back and realized that I waste so much time being afraid that I am screwing up my life, because of a bad grade, or because I said something wrong. God made me the way I am for a perfect reason, and if I didn't have these struggles I wouldn't be able to achieve the purpose God has sent me to do. For example if I got all A's (which I assure you I don't) made I wouldn't go to the college that God wants me to and then I wouldn't meet certain people etc. I read this devotional book called "Jesus Calling" by Sarah Young and it is constantly explaining that we should thank God for our struggles because without them 1. we wouldn't be so dependent on God (good thing) 2. it teaches us to trust God 3. we wouldn't be fully equip for the plans God has for us. Luke 12:25,26 says " Who of you worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?" and Proverbs 19:21 says " Many are the plans in a man;s heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails." Hope this helps to motivate you guys to trust God's plan! I know once I really began to trust God I truly had peace and life didn't seem so overwhelming! Well night!
